Infrastructure First
Palm Coast is already lacking in critical infrastructure — especially water. New residential development must address these issues without putting the cost on existing residents.

Smart growth. Infrastructure first. Protecting the Palm Coast we love for the residents and wildlife who call it home.

Jimmy Hengy
Born in Michigan in 1961, Jimmy's earliest memories are of growing up in South Florida — Hollywood, then Ft. Lauderdale, where he lived until 2001. After graduating high school in 1979, he went straight to work, building a career that spans more than 40 years in business development, management, and operations.
Jimmy spent 28+ years in the decorated garment industry. He started at TSF Sportswear and rose to production manager before founding Expertees, Inc. in 1985, a contract screen printing company serving retailers like Sears, JCPenney, and K-Mart and corporate clients including Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean, Office Depot, and Keds.
In 2001 he sold Expertees to purchase The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tee Shirt Company in Sebring, FL. He later founded IBG Enterprises and a fishing rod manufacturing division. In Sebring, Jimmy worked with the Highlands County Economic Development Committee on a business incubator program, partnered with the CRA to revitalize historic downtown, and volunteered as a city advisor evaluating employee performance.
After 40 years in business, Jimmy retired and moved with his fiancée to Palm Coast for a slower pace of life. With years of experience attending city government meetings and friendships with mayors and county commissioners, he knows how local government works — and now it's his time for public service.
A simple mission: control future development with a thoughtful plan that puts our infrastructure, our economy, and our environment first.
Palm Coast is already lacking in critical infrastructure — especially water. New residential development must address these issues without putting the cost on existing residents.
Palm Coast needs an agreed-upon mission statement that reflects what residents actually want. Are we a Boca Raton or a Lauderhill? I believe we have the potential to be a beautiful, well-kept city of the highest standard.
Too many residents drive to St. Augustine or Daytona for work. I want to bring a business incubator program to Palm Coast to nurture local companies and create well-paying jobs right here at home.
The deer, turkeys, and birds that roam our streets are part of what makes Palm Coast special. I will fight overdevelopment that threatens our natural spaces and the wildlife that calls them home.
Grassroots campaigns are powered by neighbors. Your contribution helps put yard signs in lawns, mailers in mailboxes, and Jimmy's message in front of every Palm Coast voter.
